Friendly staff and delicious pastries! They are the French bakery to stop at while in Vancouver. The pistachio croissant was better than most European treats I've tried. The Noel croissant was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The savory cheese scone was deceptively fluffy with a crunchy crust 😋

The last time we came here was during Covid so we were surprised to see how the store has changed over the last year. They removed the shelf in the middle and added more tables and they now have even more selection of desserts and pastries. We tried the Valentine specials (rose raspberry lychee vanilla cream puff and raspberry danish) as well as this year's hot chocolate and everything was very good! The quality was a little inconsistent when they first opened the Downtown location but the Fir location is still the Fir location that we used to love. Would definitely come back soon!!

The best double baked almond croissant I’ve ever had in metro Van! I’ve been searching (and searching) but finally found the perfect croissant in terms of flakiness, buttery layers and delicious filling that isn’t too dense or oily. We’ve gotten these several times and while the appearance isn’t always uniform, the taste is consistently good.

i came here to try their matcha black sesame melon pan for the cherry blossom festival, and it was absolutely incredible. it wasn’t very sweet at all, but there were really nice and subtle matcha flavour, paired with the creamy, sweet, and a tad salty sesame filling. i loved how CRUNCHY the top was, but one complaint is that the pastry itself wasn’t very soft at all — it was a bit chewy and tough, and not very fresh. they did run out very fast though, so make sure you come earlyyyy if you want to try out the popular festival items.

It was quite interesting—usually it’s hard to find parking here, and the place is often full. But one day, after dropping a friend off at a nearby lab, I turned the corner and found a parking spot right in front of their door. What are the chances? Of course, I took the opportunity to park and enjoy a lovely afternoon tea!

Beaucoup bakery has some seriously delicious pastries. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We tried the vanilla latte, hawaii scone, onion bacon scroll, pepperoni scroll, ham and cheese scroll, and both the almond and chocolate almond double baked croissants. Everything was amazing. We'll definitely be back

I don’t find myself in the area very often, but when the opportunity arises (as it did yesterday) I’m always keen for a sweet treat from Beaucoup! Pictured Clockwise: - Chocolate Kugelhof (a lovely seasonal dark chocolate yeasted cake with chocolate chips, citrus peel, & almonds, rolled in sanding sugar, with a little dollop of chocolate cream on top). - Tropical Scone (most scones from other shops can be a bit dry, but not this one — no butter or clotted cream needed! Crumbly, sweet, studded with dried tropical fruit, macadamia nuts, & coconut — wonderful!). - Cardamom Kouign Amann (I get one of these every time I visit, the cardamom is an absolute MUST have for me). - Cinnamon Scroll (huge, flakey, sticky & luscious) nestled at the bottom of the box. Not Pictured: I also bought 2 little cello bags of Brown Sugar Crunch Cookies and Brown Sugar Shortbread (both types of cookies were simple & lovely, perfect with a cup of tea. But if I had to choose a favourite between the two, the buttery shortbread would be my go-to). My tummy was doing its happy dance, meanwhile my waistline is grateful that I don’t live closer (otherwise I’d definitely be much fatter!). 😋

This place is such a hidden gem! We were lucky enough to arrive early and receive croissants that were still slightly warm. The pistachio croissant was wonderful, nutty aroma, nice sweetness, flaky, crispy and buttery smooth. Their chai was surprisingly delightful and not overwhelmingly sweet which I appreciate. I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice morning treat and will definitely be visiting again.
